The One App by Camp Connection (833) 409-0033

From Camp Connection Inc

How many systems does it take to run your camp?

It should take one.

Most camps we talk to are running four or five — registration here, accounting there, a scheduling tool, a donor database, and a stack of spreadsheets holding the whole thing together. The One App is one system that holds all of it, so the headcount the kitchen cooks for and the balance the office chases come off the same records.

The problem is not any one of them. It is that none of them agree.

Every system you own is probably fine at its own job. The cost is in the seams between them — the double entry, the export, the printout somebody is still working from three weeks later, and the number nobody quite trusts.

Four or five systems

  • A family registers, and somebody retypes them into accounting.
  • The kitchen count lives on a whiteboard and is wrong by dinner.
  • Housekeeping runs off a clipboard that the front desk cannot see.
  • A donor eats in your dining hall and nobody at the table knows.
  • Two reports disagree and the argument takes an afternoon.

One

  • One registration, and the roster, the balance, the forms and the dietary note are already right.
  • Tonight's plate count comes off the groups that are actually on site.
  • What is left to clean is on the phone of the person cleaning it.
  • The donation and the registration sit on the same record, so you can say thank you in person.
  • There is one number, so there is nothing to reconcile.

What one app turns out to mean

It builds the week for you

Every group, meal and activity on the calendar becomes the shifts you need to cover them. Dinner confirmed at 118 asks for the kitchen staff that feeds 118, and a certification that expires on Friday will not be scheduled for Saturday.

It knows who is calling

The phone rings and you already know it is Jordan's mom, that there is a balance due, that the health form is missing and that she stopped halfway through registering. You can fix all four before she hangs up.

It is on the phone, properly

Not a shrunken website. Your cook, your housekeeper and your director each build their own screen out of the pieces they need, and some of it works from the Home Screen without opening anything.

It covers the parts nobody demos

Work orders, room turns, beds assigned by a group's own leader, the camp store, scholarship awards, the donor who paid for the roof. The unglamorous half is where the double entry actually lives.

You can just ask it

How many are we feeding tonight. Where is Jordan Miller staying. Is Riley ready for check-in. It answers from your real records, and only ever tells a person what their own permissions allow them to see.

Nothing is a module

There is no pricing page where the donor piece costs extra and the kitchen piece costs extra again. It is one product. That is the whole idea, and it is also why it can do the things above at all.

See your own camp in it before you decide anything

Half an hour on a call. Send us what you have and we load your camp into it ourselves — your groups, your buildings, your programs — and then you get fourteen days to use it with your own camp in front of you. Nothing to sign, no card, and nothing to cancel if you walk away.

  • We load your data
  • 14 days free
  • No contract
  • No credit card

Thirty minutes, an honest answer, and if we are not right for you we will say so on the call rather than six weeks into an implementation.

Who is behind this

Camp Connection Inc. The company was started by people with decades in Christian camping, and The One App was built over three years against about sixty conversations with camp leaders about what their software could not do. Eight camps ran the beta on real guests and real money before anyone else was let in.

Forest Glen Camp and Retreats in Huntsville, Texas — 700 beds — went from eight software platforms toward two.

Taylor Belt, Director of Retreats, on camera. Watch it.

The full product — every screen, the full tour, the customer stories — is at theoneapp.camp. The iPhone app is on the App Store.

Did we email you?

Then you are owed a straight answer about how we got your address, what we do with it, and how to make it stop. It is a short page and it holds nothing back.
